Quick Configure: OS/VM Monitoring

What you get:

BMC will perform the following in one environment:

• Conduct a workshop for gathering requirements
• Prepare Solution Design Document
• Install up to five BMC Patrol Agents 
• Configure up to two deployable monitoring packages on BMC Helix Operations Management (BHOM)
• Configure up to five monitoring policies for OS, log files, and processes
• Configure up to five alarm policies for threshold management and alert generation
• Configure one dashboard with up to five monitoring metrics
• Prepare Construction Document 
• Prepare Test Strategy and System Test Plan
• Assist Customer with functional testing

Customer will be responsible for:

• Conducting functional testing
• Ensuring availability of subject matter experts for workshop with BMC

Deliverables: Using BMC’s standard methodology and templates, the following Deliverables are in scope for this project and will be delivered:

• Solution Design Document
• Construction Document
• Test Strategy and System Test Plan

Completion Criteria: BMC will have completed these Consulting Services when the in-scope Consulting Services have been completed and the Deliverables have been delivered to the Customer Project Manager.

Pre-requisites:

• BHOM must already be onboarded and configured for user access
• Firewall ports must be open between monitoring environment and BHOM
• Customer to provide access and privileges to:
  • A service account for monitoring IT infrastructure
  • Servers for BMC Patrol Agent deployment
• Minimum version for BMC Patrol Agent is 20.08
