Outbound Event Integration

This Service configures an integration from BMC Helix Operations Management (BHOM) to a single system using BMC Helix iPaaS. It may include logic to automate actions such as incident ticketing, reporting, or recovery.

What you get:

BMC will perform the following in one environment:

  • Conduct a workshop for gathering requirements
  • Prepare Solution Design Document
  • Map BHOM event attributes to external tool
  • Create connector using BMC Helix iPaaS, if required
  • Install a private agent, if required
  • Configure BMC Helix iPaaS parameters, variables, and attributes
  • Configure integration workflow
  • Prepare Construction Document
  • Prepare Test Strategy and System Test Plan
  • Assist Customer with functional testing

Customer will be responsible for:

  • Conducting functional testing
  • Providing access and privileges on servers for private agent deployment
  • Providing subject matter expert with access to the target system

Deliverables: Using BMC’s standard methodology and templates, the following Deliverables are in scope for this project and will be delivered:

  • Solution Design Document
  • Construction Document
  • Test Strategy and System Test Plan

Completion Criteria: BMC will have completed these Consulting Services when the in-scope Consulting Services have been completed and the Deliverables have been delivered to the Customer Project Manager.

Pre-requisites:

  • A BMC Helix iPaaS license
  • BHOM must already be onboarded and configured for user access
  • Firewall ports must be open between monitoring environment and BHOM
  • Customer to provide a privileged service account for access to the target system
