Control-M Assessment Service

This Service is conducting a discovery of the current capability and configuration of one existing DEV/TEST/PROD Control-M environment set, analyzes them against operating current and near-future needs and provides adjustment recommendations to improve Customer’s workload automation efficiency.

What you get:

BMC will perform the following in one existing Control-M environment:

  • Conduct workshop discovery sessions 
  • Analyze the actual workload automation capabilities implemented in Control-M against the needed ones and create an analysis report
  • Review the analysis findings and initial recommendations with Customer
  • If needed, conduct extra discovery workshops, refine the findings and recommendations, and update the analysis report
  • Develops and delivers an echo-back analysis presentation

Customer will be responsible for:

  • Running BMC utilities for profiling the Control-M installation, configuration, and job execution profiles
  • Providing access to their internal domain expert resources, such as schedulers, application developers, and workload automation beneficiaries, on the agreed start date
  • Providing the necessary technical resources, such as infrastructure and network administrators, on the agreed start date

Deliverables: Using BMC’s standard methodology and templates, the following Deliverables are in scope for this project and will be delivered:

  • Analysis Report

Completion Criteria: BMC will have completed these Consulting Services when the in-scope Consulting Services have been completed and the Deliverables have been delivered to the Customer Project Manager.
