BMC AMI DevX Total Test 20.x: Fundamentals Preparing a Test Program (WBT)
BMC AMI DevX Total Test (formerly BMC Compuware Topaz for Total Test) is an automated testing solution that enables developers and testers to test mainframe programs and subprograms almost immediately after updating a piece of code. Performing automated testing through Total Test increases the effectiveness and coverage of software testing, lowers the failure rate, and ensures higher-quality software. BMC AMI DevX Total Test is available from BMC AMI DevX Workbench for Eclipse (formerly BMC Compuware Topaz Workbench), an Eclipse-based IDE.
In this web-based course, learners will understand how to prepare a mainframe test program before they can perform automated testing using Total Test. The course demonstrates how to scan test programs, generate runtime visualization, create a debugging session, generate code coverage reports, and optimize test data using functionalities and tools, such as Shared Services, Scan Utility, Runtime Visualizer, and BMC AMI DevX Code Debug (formerly BMC Compuware Xpediter). The course is presented as interactive simulations and demonstrations that guide the learners on how to perform the steps involved in preparing a test program in Total Test.
